What’s at the bottom of the Chicago River?

When he learned we were taking it on, he said: “Yay! Or … depending on what you find, it may be the furthest thing from ‘yay.’”

Mike lives in Chicago’s Fulton River District, so he crosses the river frequently in his day-to-day life. Once while walking over the Kinzie Bridge, he looked down to see a barge full of garbage passing below.

“It just got me thinking, some of that garbage has got to spill over and go in the river,” he said. “So I wondered, what else is in there?”  READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE HERE:
