Kilbourn Park “Native Seeds to Native Plants” workshop 1/31

Hello Everyone,

Friends of KPOG will host a Native Skilbourn_parkeeds to Native Plants Workshop on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10 am at the Green House.

Sara Rose, a Naturalist from Trailside Museum, a part of the Cook County Forest Preserve in River Grove will present this workshop.  In this seed starting workshop you will learn techniques to encourage seed germination in native plants and discuss benefits of incorporating native plants into your landscape.  Participants will take home a plant.  This workshop is designed for adults and interested teens.

The cost is $10 per person.  There is limited seating.  Registration is required by 1/26.  Email Georgia Chilton at ghchilton@gmail to reserve.
