Thursday, March 12th, 7pm:  Siting and Installing Rain Gardens

north park villageJoin Julia Bunn, owner of The Spirited Gardener, a sustainable landscape design/installation firm, as she discusses solutions for managing rainwater in Chicago.  Julia will give a brief history of rain gardens and why their function is so useful for local flooding problems.  She will present different rain water management systems, and she will show a few examples of gardens that have successfully solved flooding problems like basement seepage and lawn pooling.

Meet at 7:00 at the NORTH PARK NATURE CENTER 5801 N. Pulaski, Chicago
