Plant Exchange was a big success!

Yesterday’s Plant Exchange was just terrific.
The weather cooperated nicely. Not too hot and not too sunny! We had thirty members in attendance. We had lots of delicious food to eat and drink. The plants that were donated were all top notch! Big hostas, small hostas, day lilies, iris, anenome, ground covers of every shape and size. We could have opened up a Garden Center! Everyone seemed pleased with their choices. Special THANK YOU goes out to Don and Carolyn Jensen for once again letting us use their lovely yard for our meeting.
After the meeting 12 of us went over to Tripp Garden to spread the 5 cubic yards of mulch that was delivered on Friday morning. We then spread mulch on the Keeler Garden, Tripp Neighbors garden on 3900 N. Tripp and finished up at the Corner Garden at Tripp and Byron. We were really tired at 3:30 when we were finally done! Thanks to everyone who helped with the garden cleanup and mulching! Here are a few pictures from yesterday.
Great work everyone! The gardens look terriffic!
All in all it was a great day!
